Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American model and actress. The agent that spotted her talent and appreciated her skills convinced her to go into the entertainment industry. After some thought, she dropped out of the school to join the world of entertainment. Her debut came in the film Children of the Corn V : Fields of Terror, which she was not happy with the way it turned out. The skills she developed in acting were sharpened through appearances in low-budget movies. The road to this actor was not easy however his perseverance and willpower were rewarded.
